Fixed point approximation for generalized Chatterjea type contractive mappings in hyperbolic $b$-metric spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we consider a generalized Chatterjea type contractive mapping and introduce an iteration scheme in a uniformly convex hyperbolic $b$-metric space. Strong convergence as well as $\Delta$-convergence results for the introduced iteration scheme are obtained.
